Kimberley and my second attempt at blogging

My Finnish friend Tulla and I had long held a dream to travel together to the Kimberley region in Western Australia. In June 2010 we realised the dream. Together with my husband John and Tiina's friend Artuu, we hired a four wheel drive and tried to cram in as much of the essence of the Kimberley as possible in just two weeks. We spent the first day or so in Kununurra checking out the surrounds and acclimatising - very necessary for the two Finns.
This is me with Tulla and Artuu resting whilst walking in the Mirima National Park on the outskirts of Kununurra.

  1. Looks like a beautiful place to travel. So far I have only flown over that area but must remedy that.
